Audio and Video do not sync when recording with Avervision software

Question

My teachers report that the audio doesn't match the video on the playback of their AverMedia recorded videos of their students.

Has anyone else experienced this? How do I fix it?

Answer

This is actually normal. the reason being that the video recorded via USB has a reduced frame rate. It is reduced because USB cable cannot process signals that fast. And Since your audio is recorded in real time the video and audio will be off a little in synchronization.  It is like when you use video chat on skype, the words and the mouth movement is always off a little. our document camera recording is the same idea.

However I have provided a way for you to use Windows Movie maker to tweak the sound so it syncs up with the mouth movement.  instructions are attached.
