My AVerVision document camera is out of focus. How can I get a focal point again?

 

 

 

Answer 

You will need to adjust the camera lens and focus ring of the document camera. Please see pictured instructions below.   you can also view you tube video here

*** REmove the LED light Attachment from the camera head if your camera has one***
 
Sometimes with Manual Focus Document Cameras; if you overturn the focus dial the focus lens will come off the threadding. So what you get is when you turn the focus knob, you will only see the lens spinning freely but does not move in or out of the camera head. 

1.  Position the camera arm flat against a table like shown in the picture.

2.  Hold on to the lens with your fingers, push down and turn right (like twisting on a cap).

3.  Keep turning until you feel the lens start to screw into the camera head.

4.  When a connection is made you should be able to turn the focus knob and see the lens gradually extending or retracting

5.  Now stand the camera upright and try to adjust the focus again.
